Luxury Through the Lens: Gordon Heads to Macau for an Exclusive Hotel Shoot

Gordon is excited to announce an upcoming luxury hotel photography assignment in Macau, where he will be spending five days and four nights capturing the character, atmosphere and refined details of a spectacular hotel.

From beautifully appointed bedrooms and suites to restaurants, bars, the hotel lobby, grounds and everything in between, the shoot will showcase the complete guest experience through carefully considered architectural and lifestyle imagery.

For this assignment, Gordon will be working exclusively with his 100-megapixel medium format camera and premium prime optics, delivering the exceptional detail, clarity and depth that medium format photography is renowned for.

Hotels are my ultimate passion!

Joining his equipment bag will also be an ultra-wide 17mm shift lens, allowing Gordon to capture expansive interiors while maintaining beautifully controlled perspectives and straight architectural lines — particularly important when photographing grand hotel spaces.

There is plenty to organise and prepare before travelling, but Gordon is already looking forward to the assignment and, quite simply, to getting some luxury in front of his lens!

A New Chapter in Luxury Hotel Photography

Upon his return from Macau, Gordon will also be launching a completely new website and branding dedicated exclusively to luxury hotel photography. The new website marks another important step in his long-term vision of establishing himself in Europe and working with some of the finest hotels and resorts around the world.

With each new assignment, Gordon is building an international portfolio focused on creating imagery that does more than simply document a property — imagery designed to capture its atmosphere, personality and sense of luxury.
